Clatuu Alpha Fat Freezing - Post Treatment Care

After the cup is removed, the treated area will look or feel stiff; there could be transient blanching (whiteness) of the skin and an intense red to purple colour. These are normal reactions that naturally resolve within minutes.

Immediately after the treatment, your therapist will massage the semi-frozen area of fat cells, as this can improve clinical outcomes. You may feel odd, uncomfortable, or painful sensations during the massage.

Bruising, swelling or tenderness may occur after the applicator is removed. These changes last from several hours to a few weeks.

Healthy eating is required in the weeks following the treatment to reach your desired outcome. After a CLATUU Alpha treatment, it’s important that you participate in a low-intensity workout such as jogging or walking for at least 30 minutes within 24 - 48 hours.

You may start to see changes as early as three weeks after CLATUU Alpha treatment, but optimal results are achieved in one to three months post-treatment which can vary from person to person. This optimal result can vary depending on the location of the treatment. Your body continues to remove the injured fat cells from your body for up to four months after your procedure.

You may decide whether additional treatments are necessary to reach your optimal outcome.

In the days following the treatment, the area may ache and feel bruised. This aching, redness, bruising, swelling, tenderness, itching, increase in skin sensitivity and tingling can last a few hours to several weeks. The skin may feel numb; this decrease in sensation can last for hours to several weeks but resolves naturally.

For 1 in 20 people, there is a strong cramping or muscle spasm or a shooting pain that occurs up to 2 weeks after the treatment. Generally, this is tolerable without pain relief; however, you may take Panadol or Tylenol if required. If the pain is more severe and persists, please contact info@barelaserandskin.com.au

Patient experiences will differ. Some patients may experience a delayed onset of previously mentioned occurrences.
