As a Pigmentation model we will utilise our favourite Laser Rejuvenation technique and potentially our diathermy technique to target your pigment concerns within a 30 to 45 minute treatment. 45 minute sessions include a 15 minute LED to conclude.

During your session there may be a second therapist in the room to observe and learn new techniques, likewise there may be a second therapist recording or taking photos of your treatment. Please be aware that this content may be used for training, marketing or social media.

After your treatment we leave it with you as to whether or not you would like to rebook for a second session or a complimentary post treatment assessment. We recommend booking 4 weeks later.

BEFORE YOUR SESSION:

1. Avoid using all exfoliants and products containing irritants (vitamin A, benzoyl peroxide, glycolic acid, salicylic acid) the day before and the day of treatment.

2. Avoid spending prolonged time out in the sun and make sure to apply sunscreen of at least SPF 30+ or higher on a daily basis.

3. Ensure that your skin is free of any self-tanning products on the treated area for 1 week prior to your appointment.

4. Avoid any treatments, such as waxing or threading, that could irritate your skin for 1 week prior to your appointment.

5. Please mention to your clinician of any old facial piercing holes and facial tattoos prior to your appointment.

AFTER YOUR SESSION:

EXPECT: Redness and tightness of the skin immediately after treatment. From day 2-3 you may experience Itchy skin, rash-like bumps, and breakouts which is normal.

AVOID: Waxing the treated area for 3 days post-treatment. Skin peels or abrasive treatments for a minimum of 2 weeks post laser treatment. Avoid all exfoliants, retinol-based products and glycolic acid 3-4 days post-treatment.

RECOMMENDED: A minimum of SPF 30+ worn every day. We recommend Aspect sunscreen that we sell online and in clinic. Keep the treated area cool and free from friction until all side effects have subsided. This involves the avoidance of vigorous exercise, hot steamy showers, spa baths, saunas, tight hats and anything else that can make the skin to feel hot.
